The District Disability Rehabilitation Centre, Sangrur has been functioning since July 2003 in the premises of the Working Women Hostel near Red Cross Bhawan, Ranbir Club, Sangrur. Its collaborating agency is the Indian Red Cross Society, Sangrur. The main emphasis of DDRC is to provide artificial limbs, callipers, hearing aids, tricycles, wheelchairs, rehabilitation aids, appliances, therapeutic services, loans for self-employment, counselling for Divyangjans, and a barrier-free environment.
